HIGH VACUUM SILICONE GREASE (H.V.G. – 20) PRODUCTION INFORMATION DESCRIPTION & APPLICATION This is silicone base grease specially manufactured for vacuum system. This is use for lubrication of stopcock valves of glass vessel. H.V.G.–20 is suitable for Vacuum upto10-9 Torr. APPEARANCE : - TRANSLUSENT WHITE TEMP RANGE : - -400C to 2250c PENETRATION : - 200 –260 BENEFITS: - Excellent performance up to 10-9 Torr. Highly sticky product water repellent. Resist Acid and Alkaly. SOLUBILITY: - H.V.G.-20 compound is not soluble in water, methyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol, acetone glycol And glycerin However, it can be dispersed in kerosene, benzene, toluene ethyl ether, carbon tetrachloride, petroleum ether, methylene chloride or perchloro ethylene.
